Maybe. But Greg & I realized that during the process of planning our wedding we started going against our guts. We always had a pretty clear idea of how we wanted our wedding to be. But in the hustle and bustle of things, we began to give up & decided to go with what seemed "easier" or "fine". Well, we don't want easy or fine. We want fun & amazing! We always pictured our wedding to be all outdoors. In a rustic, yet beautiful location. We actually visited our dream location last August. A gorgeous old farmhouse set on a vineyard in Paso Robles. Why did we walk away, you say? Well for a few reasons {more of the "easy" & "fine"} and maybe we just simply weren't ready. But the aching feeling of regret crept into my stomach as we started planning our restaurant-style wedding in Santa Barbara. What if it's not too late to change our minds?
Well we did just that, and now it feels like a breath of fresh air! The farmhouse is back, and so are we. We couldn't be more excited and thrilled to be following our hearts!
I want to give a special thank you to some friends & family who have be amazingly supportive. Comments from you about how thrilled you are that we are doing what makes us happy & how we could change the location a million times & you'd still be there. That's what it's about. Good friends, good family & fabulous times. We love you all! {oh, and on a side note, we WON'T be changing it a million more times, or any more times for that matter!}
So here we are two and a half months from our new wedding date & location & it feels amazing. Hope to see you all June 20th, 2009 at The Farmhouse at Hammersky Vineyards in Paso Robles. Thanks for your support!!
xoxo
